Welcome strangers, students, websurfers. My name is Brendan Bosworth, and I've created this site as an overview of my work as a music educator in Seattle and the surrounding area. My own background as a guitarist is primarily as a rock and jazz player, and during my years at Carnegie Mellon University I studied with Pittsburgh jazz guitarist and composer Joe Negri. I have also had the privilege of studying with Eric Kloss, Wayne Krantz, Dan Libertino, David Pellow, Wayne Johnson, and many others. Since moving to Seattle, I've performed and recorded with projects including Friends for Heroes, Josh Ottum, Dolour, Thieves of Kailua, and Love in Space.

The majority of my teaching is as a guitar instructor at Music Works Northwest in Bellevue. With an esteemed staff and beautiful studios, the school is a hidden treasure in our region. For me, it has provided a space to lead jam sessions, recording workshops and summer camps in addition to teaching individuals. I also offer lessons in homes, and in my studio in Seattle's Central District.
